About
our history
Beth Haven Baptist Church
The Lord lead Pastor Ken Blank to Green Bay, Wisconsin to plant and pastor Beth Haven Baptist Church in 1972. Under Pastor Blanks faithful leadership Beth Haven Academy was established in 1976. The church had four previous homes before the church’s first building program and current location of 2023 South Ridge Rd in 1984. Next-door neighbors to Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers.
In 2011, after nearly 40 years of faithful service as pastor of Beth Haven Baptist Church Ken Blank retired and was recognized by our church as Pastor Emeritus. The Church chose to elect Pastor Greg Kummer as their 2nd Pastor in the church’s history who had been serving in the church as the associate pastor for the past 16 years.
Pastor Kummer and his wife Martha have four grown children; Aimee, JR, Valerie, and Carlos. He was a graduate of the church’s Christian school, Beth Haven Academy in 1988. Pastor Kummer went on to attend Bible college and served as associate pastor and pastor in southern Wisconsin before returning to Green Bay in 1995 to serve at Beth Haven Baptist Church as associate pastor.
In 2019 Beth Haven Baptist Church sold its property at 2023 South Ridge Rd. and purchased property at Bellevue St. in the south east side of Green Bay where, if Lord willing, will be the new location of the church in the near future. At this time the church is still currently leasing the property at 2023 South Ridge Rd. until the new church building has been completed.
